Casa Rațiu events and design bear the signature of Pamela Rațiu, executive director for Romania of London based Rațiu Family Charitable Foundation. Pamela has 30 years of experience in international management for both the public and private sector, actively supporting sustainable non-profit organisational development in Transylvania. Her expertise covers management, event concept, public relations and partnership development. Pamela is a patron of The Oxford Cultural Collective, an international cultural institute that provides opportunities for creative, convivial and collaborative learning.

Unconventional settings
Pamela’s signature event is “Dinner in the Forest”, a fine dining experience in unconventional settings which includes features of local culture and spectacular elements of design. We support local produce which is prepared by renowned London chef, Paul Bloomfield and his catering team. All events showcase elements of Transylvanian and Romanian produce, from the hand-woven table clothes, Sibiu cutlery, Turda glass or the fine distinguished Romanian wines. Whether it is jazz, poetry or opera, your wish is our command!

Casa Ratiu, Turda
If you are looking to host a training, workshop or conference, consider the Rațiu Conference Centre. Equipped with video projector, screen, flip chart and AC, the conference center can be set theater style accommodating up to 80 persons. Meeting rooms are available, snacks and coffee can be provided by the La Papion cafe team and served in the downstairs area.

Coffee breaks and catering
If you are travelling to Turda for trainings or conferences, a possible venue is the Ratiu Conference Centre. The centre accommodates comfortably 80 persons in a theatre style setup. We have Meeting Rooms available as well as projector, screen, flip charts and AC and we can provide translation on request. Coffee breaks can be organised in the downstairs area, our catering team is renowned in the area for the seasonal cooking and snacks made with fresh produce.
All of our endeavours have been inspired through a sustainability initiative, which supports the projects and programs of Ratiu Democracy Centre, an organisation that promotes democracy as a way of life.
We take pride in our sustainable partnership with local producers, in a strong collaboration with wine experts and we are dedicated to making your event unique.
